How to determine the connection speed

Sometimes a bug or error can appear due to a slow internet connection. To rule this problem out, we need to know how fast your internet connection is.

The procedure to determine the connection speed is all the same for every version of Windows that is supported.

1. Open the “Run” dialog box by pressing the keys “Windows Logo + R”

2. Type “ping –t” into the box and press “OK”

3. In the box that opens you can see how long it takes to connect to our server if the connection has been successful. Note this and add it to your bug report.

Mac OS:

1. Open the Terminal. You can access it through the button shown below.

2. Type “ping”

3. Note the time shown in ms and add it to your bug report.
